Job summary

HDR is seeking a highly motivated Senior Transit Project Manager to lead and deliver rail/transit projects for transit agencies. You will pursue, manage, and respond to client needs while coordinating with the Transit Market Sector Leader and marketing teams.

The role requires broad experience with transit rail projects and knowledge of PS&E, DSCD, and CM processes. Travel to client sites and events may be necessary; join HDR’s employee-owned culture and drive project pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• PE license or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated leadership and business development skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all aspects of client and design-team management of commuter and rail transit projects.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and monitor multidisciplinary projects with high technical complexity and large staff.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Serve as Project Manager on small to large transportation projects.
• Coordinate client HDR communications and support contractual and production meetings.
• Participate in proposal development and marketing activities as a seller-doer.
