Job summary

New York City Transit is seeking an Associate Transit Management Analyst to assist in capital project delivery within Facilities operations. You will work under the Senior Director and Project Superintendents to ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget and compliant with standards.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree or a bachelor's with extensive related experience, and possess strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to support cost tracking,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, public administration, engineering, or related field with professional experience in budget or project analysis.
• Alternative: Bachelor's degree and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating capital project activities from initiation through close-out.
• Conduct frequent site visits for quality control and prepare daily field reports.
• Identify project risks, issues and constraints with timely mitigation and resolution.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendents, NYCT staff, contractors and stakeholders to support delivery.
• Support compliance with standards, codes, safety, and quality expectations.
• Assist with project plans, documentation, progress reporting and cost tracking.
