Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required, degree must be conferred on or before start date.
• Four years of supervisory experience.
• CDL Class B with P endorsement; air brake endorsement for Transit Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily bus operations by assigning, scheduling, and dispatching for fixed-route and demand-response services.
• Oversee field operations through on-site supervision and communications equipment to ensure safe, efficient transit services.
• Monitor operator availability and assign personnel to vehicles; communicate route adjustments.
• Interview, hire, and train new route operators; recommend route modifications to leadership.
• Maintain weekly ridership records and respond promptly to customer concerns.
