Job summary

Oklahoma State University Stillwater is seeking a Transit Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily bus operations for fixed-route and demand-response services. You will assign, schedule, and dispatch buses, supervise 40–49 staff, and ensure safe, reliable service in line with policy.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Four years of supervisory experience required.
• CDL Class B license with P endorsement required.
• Air Brake endorsement required for Transit Supervisors.
• Ability to operate a PC and two-way radio; knowledge of transit operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily bus operations by assigning, scheduling and dispatching for fixed-route and demand-response services.
• Oversee field operations and supervise 40–49 employees; resolve issues per policy.
• Interview, hire and train new route operators; recommend route modifications to leadership.
• Monitor operator availability and communicate route changes; maintain weekly ridership records.
