Job summary

Transdev is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in directing passenger transportation operations for Georgia North/Gwinnett. The role focuses on safe service delivery, contract compliance, and performance management across operational and financial metrics.

Responsibilities include leading staff, optimizing staffing and scheduling, and fostering relationships with clients and regulatory bodies. A DOT drug test may be required, with travel less than 5% as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of supervisory or management experience in public transportation or related fields.
• Experience managing service delivery, operations personnel, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of regulations governing transit operations.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily transit operations and support the General Manager in achieving operational objectives.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to operations staff.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and employee development; manage performance.
• Assist with budget management, cost controls, and financial initiatives.
• Foster relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Support labor relations and employee engagement where applicable.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Travel outside the area may be required (less than 5%).
