Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement and Air Brake endorsements required or ability to obtain.
• 3+ years of transit supervisory experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of transit system regulations and operations.
• MS Word, Excel and relevant database programs proficiency.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with labor and negotiations; flexible schedules.
• DOT drug testing and safety requirements apply.

Aufgaben

• Supervises daily activities of all operators and coordinates the activities of supervisors and dispatch personnel.
• Oversees scheduling of operators; monitors operations and coordinates delivery of service with superiors.
• Works closely with the maintenance department to ensure all operation service requirements are met.
• Track, analyze performance; resolve employee issues and improve processes and route scheduling.
• Make hiring decisions for authorized roles and evaluate staff performance.
• Assist in accident/incident investigations and support safety and training personnel.
• Coordinate with safety and training to meet safety goals and directives.
• Develops the Operations department budget.
• May operate a vehicle in revenue service if necessary.
• Other duties as required.
