Job summary

Metropolitan Council seeks a skilled Assistant Manager to lead the Transit Rider Investment Program (TRIP). You will supervise TRIP agents, guide policy adherence, and coordinate with rail, bus operations, and public safety partners to enhance customer experience across the region.

You will oversee staffing, training, and performance reviews, ensuring compliance with MT policies and state statutes while managing projects and relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 8+ years of related experience.
• Associate's degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and oversight to TRIP agents and TRIP supervisors.
• Monitor productivity in fare inspection, citations, and rider contacts.
• Establish annual goals and conduct quarterly reviews for staff.
• Recruit, train, and develop TRIP agents and supervisors.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for events and service changes.
