Job summary

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority's Division Operations Support team seeks a Transit Management Analyst to provide critical administrative, operational, and budgeting assistance to the Director of Division Operations. The role supports daily division activities and contributes to planning, reporting, and project reviews.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, public policy, engineering, economics or related field, or
• Bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant budget/financial experience.
• Experience with budget administration, reporting, and data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor expenses and support division budget tracking.
• Analyze UTS downloads and prepare TA Labor reports.
• Review Work Programs and track overtime usage.
• Perform FTE calculations and support hiring reviews and input.
• Prepare budget requests, extend reimbursable headcount, and process funding and budget entries.
• Conduct project reviews including Fan Plant, Force Accounts, Cost Verification analyses, job number requests, and utilization reviews.
• Support capital project monitoring and operational planning.
• Respond to ad hoc requests and provide data support for the Division Operations team.
