Job summary

MV Transportation in Seattle is seeking a Junior System Administrator to join the IT team. The role focuses on delivering onsite support for desktop, server, network, and transportation applications in a fast-paced transit environment.

The position requires hands-on experience with Trapeze software, AD, and VOIP systems, plus imaging and MDM rollout tasks. You will work 5 days a week onsite and help improve operational metrics while supporting end users.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows 10-11 and Server 2012/2016.
Proficiency with Trapeze transit software.
Strong fundamentals in networking and IT support.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for users and clients on transportation applications and system issues.
Support desktop, server and network per SLA, including imaging, security rollouts, and hardware care.
Assist with Cloud-based contact center environment, VOIP and softphones.
Maintain local techs for transit ops (MDTs/in-vehicle tablets, DriverMate installs, MDM rollouts).
Deliver onsite support five days a week with direct user interaction.
Develop and maintain IT operation and software development documentation.
