Job summary

Stantec’s Industrial Buildings Group in Minnesota seeks an Industrial Architectural Designer to contribute to transit and light industrial facilities. You will work under a Senior Industrial Architect on functional planning, workflow optimization, and facility layouts using BIM tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, engineers, and clients, with responsibilities spanning documentation, site plans, and model development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, industrial design, or mechanical engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in architecture/engineering and design.
• Proficiency in BIM software and architectural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and organizing client requirements.
• Lead project coordination and meetings with internal and external teams.
• Prepare and revise documentation across architectural phases.
• Develop floor plans, sections and details.
• Utilize BIM to create three-dimensional layouts.
• Review drawings and respond to RFIs.
