Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Architect – Industrial Buildings in San Francisco for elevations, sections, 3D renderings and architectural details. You will contribute to warehouse, cold storage, and advanced manufacturing facilities with sustainable design goals.

The role emphasizes BIM proficiency, collaboration with internal teams and external consultants, and adherence to budget and schedule. A California license and 8+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent licensure criteria.
• Registered Architect in California is required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of architecture experience on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organizing, and directing work through the project life cycle.
• Develops design through sketches, models, diagrams, and massing studies.
• Utilizes BIM to create 3D models and components.
• Prepares site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Participates in bidding, negotiation, and addenda preparation.
• Reviews shop drawings, RFIs, and site observation reports.
• Leads coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
