Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team invites you to join as a Project Architect/Project Designer in our Civic, Transit, and Federal practice. You will lead design efforts on complex projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and act as a primary client contact from concept through construction.

You will mentor junior staff, apply codes and building envelope knowledge, and utilize BIM tools to develop models and documentation.

Qualifications

• Accredited architecture degree required; licensure support.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architecture experience.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
• Experience in Civic, Transit, or Federal projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as primary interface with clients and subconsultants.
• Develop design through sketches, BIM models, diagrams and massing studies.
• Provide construction documentation, specifications and coordination.
• Assist in project budget, schedule, and work planning.
• Apply building codes and cost considerations for delivery.
• Participate in bidding, addenda, RFIs, and site observation reports.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to studio growth.
