Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Security Officer – Transportation Site – Full Time to protect travelers and staff at a busy transportation hub. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, perform badge checks, and respond calmly to incidents while documenting observations for leadership and client teams.

This role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and restricted areas by checking identification and/or credentials as required, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with badge and key control processes.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, fire alarms, and suspicious items, and coordinate with site leadership and local responders as needed.
Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
