Job summary

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Visitor Assistance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge procedures. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with travelers and staff, and use technology to document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, client representatives, and other assigned personnel regarding incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
