Job summary

Transdev is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager in the Phoenix West area to help oversee maintenance for a large fleet of vehicles. The role supports the Maintenance Manager, coordinating staff, inventories, and inspections to ensure timely repairs.

Qualifications include 3+ years supervisory experience in maintenance, heavy equipment familiarity (preferably CNG buses), and union experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Experience with heavy equipment, preferably CNG transit buses.
• Experience working with unions in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Manage equipment, parts and supplies inventories.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Input data into maintenance software for reporting.
