MTM Transit in Stuart, FL is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician A to keep our community moving. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on transit vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability.

The role offers industry-leading training, ASE incentives, and a supportive team environment. Required: High school diploma or GED, Florida CDL with passenger endorsement, 3+ years repair experience, ability to pass DOT and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on transit vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
• Service automotive, light-duty truck, and heavy-duty transit bus powertrains.
• Diagnose and repair chassis, suspension, brake, and drivability concerns.
• Complete electronic work orders accurately and timely.
• Assist with maintaining shop equipment, vehicle lifts, pumps, and facility systems.
• Support general maintenance of the facility and grounds.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
