Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York seeks an Analyst for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team within the DOS. The role focuses on data management, design and QA for Hexagon EAM, touching multiple divisions from Signals to Stations to operations, ensuring asset lifecycle efficiency.

The Analyst will lead EAM rollout efforts, engage with staff at all levels, and drive projects from initiation to completion, delivering actionable insights for senior management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with 2+ years relevant work experience
• Proven ability to work with Project Management teams to allocate resources across various projects, understanding dependencies, competing priorities and deliverables
• Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and coordinate multiple simultaneous high priority efforts
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employment, from hourly employees to senior management, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Support the EAM Program as a technical resource for data analysis and management
• Assisting in the design, communication and rollout of new EAM projects, occasionally leading projects from start to finish
• Liaison between the user groups and the technical team
• Prepare reports, charts, graphs, maps, and drawings to communicate data findings
• Highly organized, process and detail oriented
• Define and document strategies for integration, system, and performance testing
• Test web-based and mobile applications, ensuring technical specifications are met and function according to design
