Job summary

New York City Transit is seeking an EMD Computer Associate (Software) Level II to perform in-depth database development, maintenance, and automation using EAM, AIM, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Workflow tools. The role focuses on implementing electronic checklists, enhancements, and data analysis within the RSS Division.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or related field plus 1 year software experience in development/analysis; or
  • Four-year high school diploma and 5 years experience in software development/analysis; or
  • Equivalency substitutions allowed for up to two years of the experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage software tasks related to data administration and database management.
  • Provide expert guidance across CCTV, Access Control, and Radio technologies.
  • Analyze EAM data and generate reports as directed by management.
  • Train new employees on data entry using desktop EAM application.
  • Coordinate with MTA-IT teams to resolve issues and deploy hardware to users.
