Job summary

New York City Transit is seeking a Computer Associate (Software) Level II to handle in-depth database development, maintenance and automation. The role covers EAM and AIM systems, ArcGIS, and Auto Workflows using Microsoft tools for the RSS Division.

You will deploy hardware, support CCTV and telecommunication systems, and coordinate with MTA-IT teams. The ideal candidate will have a computer science background with 1 year of software experience or equivalent education, and the ability to train

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• Experience with database development, maintenance and reporting.
• Familiarity with EAM, AIM, ArcGIS and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage software tasks related to data administration and QA.
• Provide IT support across CCTV, Access Control, and Radio technologies.
• Lead initiatives to integrate hardware and software within telecom systems.
• Analyze EAM data and generate management reports.
• Train staff on data entry and use of EAM desktop applications.
• Submit Service Now tickets and coordinate with MTA-IT teams.
• Deploy PCs or mobile devices and configure network and email access.
• Assist with hardware/software inventory and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate RSS access to HxGN and ArcGIS for RSS users.
• Troubleshoot EAM mobile syncing, network, and performance issues.
• Visit remote facilities to provide hands-on IT support.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 1 year software experience

High school diploma + 5 years software experience

Education equivalence substitution for up to 2 years experience
