Job summary

MTM Transit, in partnership with the City of Scottsdale, seeks a Dispatcher to direct the day-to-day route and trip operations. You will help ensure safe, cost-effective, on-time performance and communicate service issues to staff.

Location is 9191 E San Salvador Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Requires 2+ years routing/dispatching experience; GPS/GIS knowledge preferred; DOT/FTA safety regulations familiarity a plus. MTM Transit is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with transportation routing, dispatching or scheduling preferred.
• Knowledge of GPS/GIS systems preferred.
• Able to supervise and mentor staff as needed.
• Familiar with DOT and FTA safety regulations preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phone information and dispatch rides.
• Organize and route trips to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide directions to drivers and resolve scheduling issues.
• Maintain communication with transportation providers.
• Record incidents and monitor on-road service quality.
• Report driver performance and no-shows to management.
