Job summary

Transdev in Beaverton, Oregon is hiring a Window Dispatcher for our TriMet LIFT contract. You will oversee road service, track performance, and coordinate with schedulers to ensure drivers are supported and on time. This role focuses on safety and customer service excellence.

Applicants should have 3–5 years dispatching experience, strong verbal/interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work shifts. DOT rules apply; accommodations may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years' dispatching experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed, DOT drug testing rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee road service by tracking trip performance and on-time routing.
• Coordinate with scheduler to plan upcoming shifts for drivers.
• Direct drivers on work rules, absences, and bidding.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment availability and assignment.
• Manage emergencies and serve as liaison with emergency services.
• Review daily service and respond to situations affecting customer service.
• Perform other duties as required.
