Job summary

PEMCCO seeks a Senior Transit Data Analyst to lead BI, performance management, and advanced analytics, transforming complex transit data into actionable insights that improve service, safety, and customer experience. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.

The role emphasizes dashboards, forecasting, KPI development, and strategic planning using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and data visualization to influence organizational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Public Administration, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, business intelligence, transportation analytics, transit performance management, or a related field.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and performance measurement systems.
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Help shape the future of public transportation through data-driven decision-making.
• Support initiatives that improve transit service reliability, efficiency, safety, and customer experience.
• Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders across Operations, Planning, Maintenance, Finance, Safety, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
• Lead high-visibility transit analytics and performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, KPIs, and business intelligence solutions that drive measurable operational results.
• Work on transit performance analysis, ridership trends, forecasting, resource allocation, safety analytics, and strategic planning projects.
• Contribute to a culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in public transportation.
