Job summary

PEMCCO, a government-focused analytics contractor, seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives and build predictive models that inform critical decision-making.

You will work with diverse data sources, develop ML solutions, create dashboards, and mentor junior analysts. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, rigorous analysis, and communicating insights to leadership in a clear, impactful manner.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, CS, Math, Statistics, Eng, OR or related field.
• 10 years of experience in data science, analytics, ML, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required.
• Strong knowledge of data governance and data management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical, predictive, and ML models.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, analytical processes, and data workflows.
• Create dashboards, reports, visualizations, and briefings for leadership.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Mentor junior analysts and data scientists.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, analyses, and findings.
