RailWorks Corporation seeks a Cost/Change Engineer in New York to oversee change orders, develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other expenses, and ensure proper documentation, routing and approvals.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to gather information, manage the change order process from initiation to payment collection, and drive process improvements to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Financial acumen and self-starter attitude.

Responsabilités

• Cost/Change Preparation: develop accurate cost estimates for projects and change orders, including materials, labor, and expenses.
• Collaboration: work with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather information for change orders and costs.
• Change Order Management: oversee the change order process from initiation to payment collection.
• Document Control and Reporting: maintain systems for change orders, tracking status and history.
• Process Improvement: revise processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and cost reduction.
