Job summary

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Construction Quality Inspector for the GoRaleigh Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion project. You will inspect civil, structural, MEP, and equipment work, documenting deficiencies and acceptance evidence to ensure project quality.

Prepare QA plans, review controls against the solicitation, record findings, coordinate across multiple workstreams, and escalate blockers to protect delivery readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience performing Transit Construction QA in public-sector or regulated environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.

Responsibilities

• Execute transit construction QA scope for GoRaleigh expansion: inspect civil, structural, MEP, equipment; document deficiencies and acceptance evidence.
• Prepare role-specific QA plans with checkpoints, sampling, evidence, and pass/fail criteria.
• Review controls, submittals, configurations, records against solicitation and baseline.
• Record defects, exceptions, severity, ownership, corrective actions, and due dates in a traceable findings register.
• Verify corrective actions through retest or reinspection; submit acceptance recommendation with complete evidence.
• Trace assigned work to RFP scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria; manage dependencies and evidence.
• Review solicitation materials/addenda; document assumptions, open items, risks, and client decisions.
• Prepare technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and evidence packages.
• Coordinate interfaces with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations.
• Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records; escalate blockers before impact.
