Job summary

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Maintenance Operations Planner for the GoRaleigh Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion project. You will translate needs into operational layouts, collect and document data, and produce reproducible analyses and recommendations.

Ideal candidates have transit planning experience in public-sector or regulated environments, strong documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across departments to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in transit maintenance planning in public-sector or regulated environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Translate fleet, staffing, bay, parts, circulation, safety and capacity needs into operational layouts and transition plans.
• Collect, validate, normalize and document data, assumptions, rules and methods.
• Perform analysis, modeling, estimates, scenarios and mappings with reproducible papers.
• Review findings with stakeholders and document recommendations.
