Job summary

FuntoNetwork seeks a Transit Facility Design Engineer for the GoRaleigh Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion project in North Carolina. The role focuses on defining facility expansion requirements, coordinating with project, technical, and operations teams, and delivering design inputs and evidence for the RFP and subsequent delivery phases.

Strong candidates will show experience in public-sector or regulated environments, with capability to produce complete work tied to requirements

Qualifications

Experience delivering transit facility design in public sector or regulated settings.
Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements.
Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, and confidentiality.
Possession of relevant licenses or clearances when required by solicitation.

Responsibilities

Develop facility expansion requirements and building systems coordination.
Trace work to RFP scope, deliverables, milestones, and evidence.
Review solicitation materials and document assumptions, risks, and decisions.
Prepare technical inputs, estimates, and evidence for proposals or delivery.
Coordinate interfaces with project management, business analysis, and operations teams.
Maintain status, issues, decisions, changes, and supporting records.
