Job summary

Luster National, Inc. seeks Construction Inspectors of various skill levels to support large transit capital programs including light rail and bus corridors. This role verifies conformance to contract documents, submittals, and codes, and produces daily field records used for project settlement.

We hire across civil, structural, building, electrical, mechanical, utility, and roofing inspection, plus safety and security representatives. Salary ranges are expansive with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management, engineering technology, civil engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction inspection experience for large and complex projects.
• Experience reading drawings and specs; knowledge of submittals and RFI processes.
• Experience with electronic field reporting and CM software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities for conformance with contract documents and codes.
• Prepare accurate daily inspection reports covering labor, equipment, materials and safety.
• Identify nonconforming work and document it in the daily report.
• Verify materials against submittals and delivery tickets.
• Witness and document field sampling and testing and track results.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering technology, civil engineering, or construction engineering, or related field

Master’s degree in construction management, engineering technology, or civil engineering
