Kimley-Horn's Downtown Los Angeles office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of transit experience to join the Transit team. The role is not remote and involves producing transit design for BRT and LRT projects, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and communicating with clients.

Ideal candidates will hold a P.E. license (or be able to obtain within 12 months) and have proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 4+ years of transit-focused engineering experience.
• Experience with transit corridor design (BRT/LRT) would be an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to production and delivery of transit design projects, focused on BRT and LRT.
• Assist in corridor concept development and public outreach.
• Coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
