The role involves assisting mechanics, performing basic vehicle care, and conducting road service calls to replace vehicles in need of service. The position requires high school diploma and safety awareness, with duties that include public interaction and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of basic automotive/motorized equipment maintenance and repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist mechanic staff and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Clean and refuel vehicles, check fluid levels.
• Perform general building and grounds cleaning for transit facilities.
• Operate rail trolleys as certified and provide road service support.
• Coordinate with the public and City staff, maintaining confidentiality.
