Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• Four years of heavy-duty repair experience or five years automotive/light duty experience.
• Valid Texas CDL with 'P' endorsement; able to obtain CDL within 90 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Performs Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI) on revenue fleet.
• Inspects, tests and diagnoses defects in major components and assemblies.
• Diagnose/repair air brake systems, suspension, steering and alignment.
• Use laptop and HVAC software; read pressure gauges and battery/charging analyzers.
• Service and diagnose Multiplex Systems using test instruments, read ladder logic charts.
• Assist in servicing exhaust after-treatment systems and electronic engine controls.
• Troubleshoot Hybrid/Alternate Fuel propulsion systems for revenue fleet.
• Inspect dimensions, clearances, torque of fasteners per factory specs.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation.
• Complete reports and records in a timely, accurate fashion.
