Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to join our US offices. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a federated, clash-checked delivery model.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce CADD/BIM standards, and mentor staff while interfacing with clients and agencies to ensure compliant deliverables. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modelling.
• 12 years of related experience, travel may be required.
• Experience with transit and multimodal projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT design criteria and agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design and MEP.
• Lead model coordination and clash detection in Navisworks.
• Establish and enforce BIM/CADD standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for deliverables.
• Interface with clients, agencies and subconsultants on model deliverables.
