Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in technical field or related technical certification
• 2-3 years of drafting or mechanical design experience for transformers or related products
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks
• Familiarity with IEEE, UL, IEC, CSA standards and DOE regulatory requirements
• Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in transformer design
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop transformer-related enclosures, assemblies, and components under guidance of engineers
• Contribute to failure analysis by data collection and identifying potential causes under supervision
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, supply chain, sales, and customer service to integrate designs into production
• Prepare and maintain basic engineering documentation and test results under supervision
• Participate in design reviews and provide data and technical support
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements for compliant designs
• Support continuous improvement through process and product improvements as directed
