ERMCO is seeking a Senior Manager, Design Engineering to lead the design, development, and manufacturing of three-phase transformers across multiple teams and plant locations in North America. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in Design Engineering focusing on transformer design.
• 8+ years in Design Engineering Leadership leading cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with IEEE, IEC, CSA standards and DOE regulations.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver results aligned with business strategy.
• Strong understanding of product optimization, regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple teams of engineering professionals across design and development of transformers.
• Oversee design, development, optimization, and execution of three-phase distribution transformers.
• Manage product scope relative to production lines and project budgets.
• Drive engineering strategies to meet quality, cost, and time targets.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales and customer service.
• Mentor junior managers and senior engineers and support succession planning.
