Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Product Assembler for the 3rd shift in Waukesha, WI. This hands-on role builds internal and external components of transformers, using cranes, presses, and other industrial tools.

You will train and develop technical skills while maintaining safety, quality and craftsmanship in a large-scale manufacturing environment. Safety, teamwork and precise assembly are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in heavy mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble internal and external components of transformers per specs.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move components.
• Train new operators and uphold safety standards.
• Follow blueprints, BOMs and set procedures for precise assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the work area.
