Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years’ transformer testing experience.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams and TSOPs.
• Experience with HV safety and NFPA70E Lockout-Tagout.
• Experience with dielectric and high-voltage testing.
• Ability to work at heights with fall protection and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform FAT testing of large power transformers.
• Verify control wiring and instrumentation; verify fans, LTC, and monitor operations.
• Conduct low/medium voltage tests up to 10 kV on floor/test environments.
• Perform high-voltage tests such as impulse, switching surge, and related dielectric tests.
• Document nonconformities and maintain safety and 5S standards.
