Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking talented people to lead, change, and inspire students in the Millbury, MA area. The Instructional Assistant provides support in classrooms and special education settings, helping teachers deliver instruction and monitor progress.

You will work under supervision of a certified teacher, assist with IEP goals, manage classroom activities, and support students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of ABA experience in a school or clinical setting.
• Successful completion of background checks (criminal record etc.).
• Passion for working with children.
• Basic knowledge of child growth and development.
• Knowledge of basic learning and behavioral strategies.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students individually or in a small group setting under supervision.
• Assist in the implementation of the goals and objectives of the IEP.
• Prepare and adapt lessons and activities as directed by the teacher.
• Plan, prepare, and assemble homework activities for students.
• Assist in computer usage and operation for students.
• Monitor groups, observe student needs and report to teachers.
• Maintain student discipline and positive behavior.
• Supervise students during assemblies, recess, and other activities.
• Assist with hygiene needs and mobility assistance as required.
• Participate in planned therapy activities and assist with related tasks.
• Administer basic first aid or CPR if trained.
