Job summary

Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support students in Special and Alternative Education. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, fields, and gymnasiums.
• Assist with field trips, materials, attendance and record-keeping.
• Review IEP modifications and behavior intervention plans (BIPs); implement program-wide behavior plans.
• Proctor MCAS exams and support teachers with MCAS ALTS/portfolios.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional conduct with students, families, and staff.
