Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to support students in Marlborough, MA, across elementary to high school levels. The IA assists teachers with instructional activities, monitors student progress toward IEP goals, and helps maintain classroom routines and safety, including basic personal hygiene and behavior support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of ABA experience in a public school or private special education setting or related clinical environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.), S.O.R.I. and fingerprints.
• Passion for working with children/students.
• Basic knowledge of child growth and development.
• Knowledge of basic learning strategies and behavioral strategies.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students individually or in small groups under supervision of a certified teacher.
• Assist in implementing the goals and objectives of the IEP for each student.
• Prepare and adapt lessons and activities as directed by the teacher.
• Plan, prepare, and assemble homework activities for students.
• Assist with computer usage and operation for instructional tasks.
• Monitor student behavior and report situations to classroom teachers.
• Maintain positive student behavior and assist with discipline as needed.
• Supervise students during activities such as recess and transitions.
• Assist with personal hygiene needs as required and appropriate.
• Participate in planned student therapy activities and assist in safety procedures.
• Score student work and assist with progress documentation.
