Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an experienced, results-driven Principal for Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio. You will lead instructional vision, drive student achievement, and manage daily operations to create a rigorous, nurturing environment.

You will oversee curriculum, coaching, staffing, compliance, and community engagement, while partnering with our Home Office to sustain ACCEL Schools’ standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Current valid Principal license.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a full-time teaching role.
• Two or more years of experience in successful school administration/instructional leadership.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Ability to coach teachers to improve instructional planning and culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the instructional design and practice, directing curriculum and assessment use.
• Develop and lead instructional programs, observe classes and guide instruction.
• Drive student achievement and school culture toward goals and AYP targets.
• Manage daily operations, budget, safety, recruitment and retention.
• Collaborate with Home Office and sponsor to ensure compliance and reporting.
• Foster a positive, growth-oriented professional environment.
