Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal at Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio to provide instructional and operational leadership. The Principal will shape the school’s academic vision, support student achievement, and oversee daily operations.

Cornerstone offers a K‑12 program with emphasis on arts, STEM and college prep. The role centers on standards‑based instruction, data‑driven improvement, staff development and a positive, engaging school culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Current valid Principal license.
• Minimum of three years’ full‑time teaching experience.
• Two+ years of successful urban school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design and practical implementation of a standards‑based curriculum.
• Develop and implement school programs, assess pedagogy, and observe classrooms regularly.
• Drive student achievement, culture, and professional development of staff.
• Oversee operations, compliance, budget, recruitment, and community engagement.
• Coach teachers and lead evaluation processes to meet ACCEL Schools’ best practices.
