Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence in Indianapolis seeks an Instructional Assistant to support curriculum implementation, assessment, and small-group instruction. You will help ensure standards-driven instruction and data collection while maintaining compliance with student plans and school policies.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, counselors, and administration, supporting students with exceptional needs and upholding PSOE frameworks across the classroom and school operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting classroom instruction and assessment.
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans and FERPA/FAPE considerations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction and assessment in small group and individual settings.
• Supports lesson planning, data collection, and conferencing within timelines.
• Monitors student progress and participates in behavior management.
• Implements BIP’s, IEP’s and 504 plans in classroom practice.
• Collaborates with Curriculum Director and other staff to support students with exceptional needs.
• Maintains compliance with PSOE frameworks and school handbooks.
