Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence in Indianapolis seeks an PSOE Instructional Assistant to support classroom instruction and curriculum implementation under the guidance of teachers and administrators. You will assist with student assessment, data entry, behavior management, IEP/504 compliance, and collaboration with staff to deliver standards-driven instruction.

Qualifications

• The Instructional Assistant will be thoroughly committed to the PSOE mission.
• Prior successful experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include: High school diploma or higher and organizational management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction and assessment in small group and individual settings.
• Utilizes data-driven instruction and PSOE frameworks to deliver standards-driven instruction.
• Completes assessments, grading, planning, and conferences within timelines.
• Ensures compliance with IEPs, 504 plans, and related reporting requirements.
• Maintains professional communication with teachers, administrators, and families.
