Job summary

Helen Ross McNabb Center seeks a Healthy Families Family Support Specialist to work with Sevier County families in their homes. The role focuses on evidence-based home visiting, family-centered case management, and adherence to Healthy Families America standards.

You will maintain caseloads, support child health and development, complete required screenings and trainings, and document activities for quality assurance and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• High school diploma and lived experience required if not Bachelor's Qualified.
• AIMH Infant Mental Health Endorsement preferred; must obtain within first year if not endorsed.
• Experience with evidence-based home visiting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains regular long-term contact with families for five years.
• Provides home visits in the family's home and ensures each visit lasts about one hour.
• Maintains high-quality home visiting services to meet Healthy Families America standards.
• Provides direct family-centered case management and ensures milestones are met.
• Maintains documentation within required timelines and records in REDCAP/database as required.
• Ensures Family Service Plans are completed within 14 days of enrollment and updated monthly.
• Attends supervision, reflective practices, and completes required trainings annually.
• Aims to achieve Infant Mental Health Endorsement and supports accreditation efforts.
