Job summary

Reworld Waste in Massachusetts seeks a Transfer Station Operations Supervisor to lead the safe, compliant, daily operation of a high-volume solid waste transfer station. You will oversee eight staff, contracted operators, waste haulers, and equipment coordination to ensure reliable receipt, transfer and transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years supervisory/management experience in industrial, logistics, transfer station, waste, recycling, or similar operational environment.
• Experience supervising employees in a fast-paced field or industrial operation.
• Experience working with budgets, operational reporting, and financial performance metrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and efficient daily operation of a high-volume, state-permitted solid waste transfer station.
• Supervise, coach, train, evaluate, and schedule a team of approximately eight operations employees.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain facility readiness, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices.
