Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Utility Operator in Massachusetts to support the industrial disposal process in a fast-paced facility. You will operate equipment, monitor ash and refuse levels, and help ensure safe and efficient operations while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and MA 1C/2C Hoisting License (or ability to obtain) with rotating shift expectations. We offer competitive pay and day-one benefits in an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must possess or be able to quickly obtain MA 1C/2C Hoisting License (state MA requirements).
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is appropriately charged for operation and maintain refuse fuel levels in boiler hoppers and equipment.
• Mix and level refuse in the industrial pit.
• Load ash using various types of industrial equipment.
• Supervise and observe delivery trucks hauling materials to tipping floor.
• Safely operate front end loaders to manage refuse and materials to tipping floor for processing.
• Inspect delivered refuse, waste, and materials and determine disposal process.
• Monitor and control inbound/outbound traffic for delivery trucks.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
