Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Operations Manager / Environmental Engineer Manager in Massachusetts to lead day-to-day operations at a waste transfer station and C&D processing facility. The role combines operational excellence with environmental compliance, safety oversight, and process improvements to drive efficiency and growth.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, coordinate with regulators, vendors, and customers, and monitor KPIs to ensure safe, compliant, and profitable

Qualifications

• Experience leading waste transfer and processing facilities.
• Knowledge of MA DEP, EPA, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the waste transfer station and C&D processing center.
• Ensure environmental compliance and accurate permitting/reporting.
• Develop procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead health and safety programs and risk assessments (OSHA standards).
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training and performance management.
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, downtime, and revenues.
