Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Huntington, WV is seeking a Part Time SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver. This role offers local home daily routes, a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM, and roughly 25–30 hours per week with weekly pay of $540.

The position emphasizes safety and customer service while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Drivers receive uniforms allowance and have access to a 401k rollover with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months to 5 years of relevant tractor-trailer experience as specified.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle and comply with safety and DOT regulations.
• Perform duties with a focus on safety and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records as required.

Immediate opening for a Part Time SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Huntington, WV

Weekly Pay $540 per week

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $18.00 Per Hour
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Schedule:Flexible!! Average 25-30 hours week but days and times may vary
• All work will be completed Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
