Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver for local shuttle runs. You will be responsible for safely driving a tractor-trailer, performing pre/post trips, and delivering to Ryder customer facilities.

The role offers weekly pay with $750+ per week and an hourly rate of $19.00, local home daily, and a Monday–Friday schedule. Benefits start after 30 days, with PTO from day one and company discounts across multiple products and services.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background, and Motor Vehicle check including prior 3 years of driving history.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; provide reliable, courteous service to customers.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $19.00 Per Hour
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday- Friday
• Start Time: 7:00 AM

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
