Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Rocky Mount, VA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our driving team. You will operate sleeper tractors on a regional route, delivering freight with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position offers weekly pay, guaranteed early earnings, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision after 30 days and PTO from day one. A strong support network and opportunities for career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with verifiable experience.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification.
• Pass a DOT physical and road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and/or state laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• First 4 weeks is Guarantee Pay: $1500.00
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.61 per Mile
• Solo Stops Pay:$31.00 per Stop
• Jobsite Deliveries: $45 per stop
• Layover Pay: $65 per night 3 - 5 Layovers/week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Friday - Tuesday
• Start Time: Could start as early as 7:00 AM or as late as 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities
